Job Details:
Administers skilled nursing care to patients with ostomies, wounds and fistulas, pressure sores and problems with incontinence.Is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and documenting WOCN nursing services to meet patient needs consistent with an established plan of care.Instructs nurses, physicians and other members of the health care team in care of patients with ostomies, wounds and fistulas, pressure sores and problems with incontinence.
Minimum
Qualifications:BSN required.Current license to practice as a Registered Nursing in the state of Maine.Satisfactory completion of WOCN accredited nursing education program.Minimum two years clincial experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care insitution required. CPR and IV certification or eligible.
