Regional Operations Specialist: Mid-Coast, Bangor, Downeast

Position Brief
The RegionalOperations Specialist is a trusted advisor to Mid-Coast, Downeast and Bangor bankingcenter staff and retail regional managers, providing operational and retailbanking support to designated banking center offices and other members of theretail operations team. The ideal candidate will possess top-notch technicalskills, the ability to communicate changes effectively as well as stronginterpersonal skills. With an unwaveringcommitment to provide the nation's best banking experience the RegionalOperations Specialist aligns work with strategic goals, exhibits sound andaccurate judgement and easily manages competing demands.
This is a newposition at Camden National Bank that does require travel to banking centersthroughout the three regions. A minimumof three years prior banking experience is a must for success.
EssentialDuties and Responsibilities include the following
Assists with formulating, interpreting and implementing bankingcenter operating policies. Provides guidance to others on how to maintaincompliance with banking center policies.
Performing tasks in banking centers to assist in the completion ofthe monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual operational checklists. Forexample: Cash Audits, Safe Deposit Box Reviews, Instant Issue Audits, ATMSettlements.
Provides additional training support to banking centerstakeholders for all retail systems and programs. For example: Vertex, OnBoardDeposits, Xperience, CRM
Responsiblefor participating in periodic banking center or retail team meetings. Providing material from recent operational meetings,ongoing operational concerns, and new operational initiatives will be theresponsibility of this individual? Serves as atrusted advisor regarding day to day operations as well as handling phonesupport fdesignated banking center offices.
Travels to designated banking centers to provide continualeducation and hands on support. Keeping up to date on all banking centeractivities.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
